Signage + WayfindingFor the High Line Canal Conservancy, I worked as part of a multidisciplinary design team to develop a comprehensive brand, signage, wayfinding, and collateral system for the 71-mile trail. The project required creating a consistent visual language that could work across 11 different jurisdictions while still feeling intuitive, approachable, and connected to the landscape. My role contributed to translating that system across trailhead signage, map kiosks, interpretive elements, printed collateral, and custom map graphics. Stakeholder input and full-scale prototyping helped shape the final system, allowing the team to test clarity, scale, and usability in real-world conditions. The result is a cohesive family of touch-points that strengthens the Canal’s identity while making the trail easier to understand and navigate for the communities it connects.
